Moving to another city is much like moving to a different planet and because of this I have decided to write an informative “Why Live in Orlando” post in order to reassure any of you planning to make this life-changing decision.
A lot of people dream of moving to Orlando, Florida, and with very good reason. You have researched the City and discovered that you like the close proximity to some of the best beaches in the country. As a matter of fact, everyone falls for its beautiful beaches. This is one thing Orlando is known for being better at than in Miami is for the beaches. Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Canaveral National Seashore, just to name a few.
Let’s not forget the Universal and Nickelodeon Studios as well as the perfect family entertainment; we count breathtaking theme parks like other cities count McDonalds. In contrast with Orlando City’s urban atmosphere, the vast majority of the state is dominated by theme parks. Magic Kingdom® Park is one of the most beautiful theme parks in the United States.
Orlando is a go-to city for hikers since there are lots and lots of outdoor hiking trails just outside the city. The Black Hammock Wilderness Area is one of the most popular of the city’s hiking trails and is known for its long boardwalk.
Rock Springs at beautiful Kelly Park is just perfect for hiking, and the rivers and surrounding freshwater lakes, although mostly inaccessible from shore are a great place for fishing. Nearby Lake Tohopekaliga is less than an hour away in case you want to try your hand at catching fish.
